The GUYNEMERPAVILJOEN:
100 years after Guynemer lost his life in the neighborhood of Poelkapelle, a pavilion is opened that bears his name. The pavilion tells the story of his life, but also that of many other pilots, friend and foe. The pavilion also paid attention to the enormous evolution that aviation experienced during the First World War. And the eye-catcher of the pavilion will of course become the replica of the Morane-Saulnier that was built in the vti of Ypres. Inside the museum you have a beautiful view of the roundabout where the Guynemer monument has been there since 1923.
This museum is worth a visit, you will find more of the pavilion here!
